When Optimism Turns Deadly

4:22PM - Orange is just too orange

I like being controlling. I do. Therefore, when I first altered my shiny livejournal, I drooled over the different mood themes, I scrolled like a maniac through the available journal styles, and I greedily consumed icons. Although I have no real control over the colour theme of LiveJournal, I accepted their blue scheme. However, as I have just opened my InsaneJournal, this orange is really not pleasing to my eye. Don't worry, imaginary reader, this is so trivial it will only allot one post and the one just because I feel like being silly.

Orange really isn't my colour. It's too bright, too harsh, and reminds me too much of Fall, a season I could really live without. Now, yellow is cheery, brown I have grown to love, and red is such a rich and passionate colour, but I'm sorry orange, I can't love you.
